Located in Northbridge on William Street is Outré Gallery, one of Australia’s leading galleries displaying alternative and contemporary artwork. If international pop art, pop surrealism, low brow portraits and general underground art are your thing, then this place is not to be missed.
Past exhibitions include illustrator and painter Keith Weesner’s cinematic and car culture-based works and New York artist Matte Stephens, who has gained a cult following with his warming mid-century paintings. Entering 2013, art enthusiasts can expect work from Shawn Barber, Kozyndan, Andrew Bennecker and many more to feature in Outré’s Perth gallery.
Aside from the original art that is on display, there are a variety of other creative pieces available.
